friendteachesThere’s no doubt that National Signing Day is probably one of the biggest days in a high school athlete's life. It lets them shine, and for it to be all about them. But for Cooper Dawson in Hanahan, SC, the way he handled his announcement showed just how special he is. Cooper was being recruited by top schools including Clemson, Tulane, Syracuse, Army and UCLA. Cooper invited his friend Kingsley, who has Cerebral Palsey to the podium with him and said, “He taught me that the only disability is a bad attitude. And if he can come around with this big old smile on, I can do it just the same." Then he whispered in Kingsley’s ear, and Kingsley announced, “He’s going to Syracuse!” Check out the inspiring video and see why Kingsley has made a lasting impact on Cooper and maybe you too!
