Dakota “Bubba” Cadd is a young man with cerebral palsy and Dandy-Walker syndrome, and he would often sit in his back yard along Wisconsin Highway 26, hoping truckers would blow their horns for him. One day his mom Peg found a bag near the fence, and realized someone gave Bubba a tee shirt and a toy truck as a present. Peg took to social media and found out that it was Mark King, a truck driver for CH Hall Trucking in Stillman Valley, IL. Word got out that Bubba’s birthday was coming up, so together with other trucking companies, they organized “18 Wheels for Bubba,” and hundreds of trucks showed up along with thousands of people! You can see the heartwarming video story, and see that they’re the definition of what we call random act heroes!
